Comments: SF gig news: I just got a confimation that Glenn is scheduled to play on Saturday, December 14th at the Hotel Utah Saloon, rather than the Cafe DuNord (I heard from both clubs). Advance tickets are scheduled to go on sale this Monday; their site (http://www.thehotelutahsaloon.com/) hasn't been updated yet to reflect this.

Ed
P.S. -- the Hotel Utah has to be the smallest venue I've ever attended a show at; the stage is as big as a coffee table.

Comments: Saw Glenn at In Atlanta last Sunday night at the Red Light Cafe. As noted before opening act (Mcorkle?) was good but the room is small and there was not even standing room only space available due to combination of a good Sunday turnout and long narrow room.

Red Light in a strange spot so Glenn was a little late because they kept missing the turnoff in the RV. The show was Great, enjoyed it so much I'm making my wife go with me to see the show in Chattanooga tomorow night (Sat). Venue looks better though its an early show (7pm) and he is opening for angie Aparo and then there is someother show at 10:30.

Crowd i thought was good in Atlanta, participation parts are great. The new album is better after seeing the songs performed live.

Comments: The Orlando gig was amazing, even if the room was kinda smelly! Sadly, only about 30 people showed up. This did not seem to bother Glenn a bit as he put on a superb show. He gathered everyone together for intimite sing-a-longs. It felt like sitting around a campfire. What fun!

Comments: I saw Glenn Sat. (11/9) at The Downtown on Long Island. Fantastic show, as usual. Loved Glenn's "Billy Squier rolling on the floor" impression. He added The Beatles' "You Can't Do That" to his repertoire and had everyone singing along. I even took along a (Glenn playing solo) newcomer and she was very impressed. Are there any Glenn/Squeeze fans who would like to trade audio items?

Comments: anyone here from Atlanta or near ATL? Glenn is here in 2 weeks and I havent seen him before. Can't wait. I also just caught a show by the guy opening for him in Atlanta...his name is Leisure McCorkle..pretty cool name I think (for reference link is above). Leisure McCorkle just played in Atlanta this past sunday and hyped the Glenn show...after seeing Leisure and knowing how good Glenn must be live, I am psyched for this show now more than ever.

You can check out the lyrics of the song and listen to a part of it through the lyrics section in my site or to click on this link to go to it directly http://www.geocities.com/latifafanlyrics/TakeMeImYours.htm

Comments: Sue, I absolutely agree with you about the City Varieties, Leeds gig. It was a shame it was an all-seater - the lack of leg room made it really difficult to get up and boogie, which is what I, and I guess most of the audience would have liked to do! Next time Glenn comes to Leeds to sing (soon I hope!) perhaps he could gig at the University of Leeds Student Union hall where it is standing room only and a really good atmosphere!

Comments: Just wanted to say what a fab night in Leeds last night at the City Varieties gig.
Just a shame the audience didn't 'join' in a bit more, poor Glenn tried his hardest to whip us into a frenzy, running all the way round the stalls (several times!) I don't think it helped being an 'all seated' gig really ... and what was
with the out of time handclapping in Hourglass.. come on guys, you must know how it goes by now surely?!!
Still 'Touching me, Touching you' was a particular
favourite steady on Glenn ...you'll go blind doing that!!!

It's the first time I've seen Glenn in concert and it certainly won't be the last! We're looking forward to Sheffield (& as many more as we can fit in!) although we're a bit unsure about the venue. Ron Sexsmith was great there but we usually like to see Glenn somewhere with a bit more atmosphere. Looks like the "sit down all night mob" have won this one. Just as well there's also our fave venue, the Flowerpot, on the agenda as well.
See you all soon...........

Comments: Happy Birthday Glenn,
It's not just an age, it's a caliber!!!!In the Ukraine they say (phonetically speaking, 'cause they have like 1 vowel in their language and it's a "Y"): "NO-HIGHA-LEETA"!Which means "many happy years", there's a whole a song and everything, then they start kicking out their legs and twirling horses etc....And if you say it to anyone of German origin they hear it as "many more liters".....So, take the double decker bus to a local German pub and yell "no higha leeta" and have many pints! Happy horse twirling!susan
