This is a sound file of a TV appearance, so obviously you don't get the full effect. But even without having seen the video version, I had no problem following what was happening. Gill (who provided this clip) explains, "What you need to know is that the news item immediately before they went to Glenn (via outside broadcast) was all about how Deptford is becoming more and more upmarket and has been named by Italian Vogue as the place to be. They start off talking about Deptford…then Glenn decides it's too bright in the pub where he is, and produces a copy of the new album 'to shield his eyes.'" They talk about Deptford and Squeeze's early days there, and then Glenn plays 'This Is Where You Ain't.'
