Glenn and The Fluffers 2004 (Photo by Toni)

Michelle and Toni both sent in TONS of lovely photos from the Glenn and The Fluffers gig in Chicago. It was hard to whittle them down to a reasonable number, as Michelle had 60 photos and Toni had 49! All of them were good, and I have done my best to bring you the cream of the crop without overwhelming you. There are also some photos from the short WXRT radio show that preceded the gig, where the band is looking quite feisty!

The new Squeeze book, Squeeze: Song By Song, was finally released in the US on December 23rd, just BARELY in time for Christmas! It's a really excellent read, full of things you never knew about the band, not to mention the songs. Americans can look for it at Borders or buy it online at Amazon, etc.

Transatlantic Ping Pong was released in Japan on November 26th on the Sound Circus label. There has been a lot of chatter about it on the mailing lists and in my guestbook, because it was rumoured to contain a DVD, and no one knew what would be on it. A friend from Japan informs me that the DVD is just the promotional video for 'Untouchable', but there is also a bonus song on the album and I don't know what that is.

The album doesn't seem to be available in the US or UK, but Amazon is normally good at importing things if they are requested. If you want the Japanese release, your best bet may be to write to them and let them know you'd be interested in buying it from them. (I'm providing links because it's very hard to find the forms on their site!)

Glenn's UK tour with The Fluffers has just wrapped up, but he's heading out again to do a solo tour starting in early February. In January he will be playing a few dates in NYC and NJ, and one in the Netherlands. For all the latest tour info, check out the official site!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a nice holiday season.

Gifts for Squeeze Lovers
December 6, 2004

Wondering what to get the Glenn/Squeeze fan on your Christmas list? Unfortunately I won't be doing a Glenn calendar this year, but I notice the Quixotic site has new tee shirts up. They're like the one Glenn is wearing here.

Also, the new book, Squeeze: Song By Song is REALLY excellent! I am reading it right now. It's available at Quixotic, who ship worldwide, and at UK shops. It's slated for release in US stores starting December 10th. Also, Amy Pickard is auctioning off a copy on eBay that is signed by Glenn, Chris Difford and the author, Jim Drury! The proceeds will help cover some of the costs incurred while trying to get the movie out to potential distributors.

Of course the ultimate gift is to see the man himself! Glenn and The Fluffers have six more dates left on their current UK tour, plus Glenn will be playing at least a few solo dates in the US this January. All the tour dates are listed at his official site, Glenntilbrook.com!

Glenn has a two-page photo feature in this month's Word magazine. It's a really nice collection of personal snapshots ranging from babyhood to modern day. Look for the DECEMBER issue with John Peel on the cover.

Thanks very much to everyone who has sent in gig photos from the US and UK tours! They're awesome, and I'm looking forward to adding them to the site as soon as I can find time. (Possibly not until after Christmas.) For those of you going to the gigs now, please don't let my slowness deter you from sending your own pics in!

UK Tour Ready to Roll

Glennmovie news and more!

November 15, 2004

After wrapping up in America ten days ago, Glenn and The Fluffers will kick off their UK tour next Monday (Nov 22) in Bilston! They'll go on to play Nottingham, Birkenhead, York, Leicester, Manchester, Crewe, Liverpool, Perth, Dundee, Glasgow, Inverness, The Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Aldershot, Stourbridge, London, and Dartford. For details check out Glenntilbrook.com.

I have been sent many lovely pictures from the recent gigs, including some great ones from the meet and greet after the Osaka gig, and an awesome second page of pics from Matlock Bath. More to come!

Rumour has it Glenn will soon be releasing Transatlantic Ping Pong in Japan, and it will include a bonus DVD. I don't know what's on the DVD or where you'll be able to buy it, but I'll keep you posted as events unfold.

Amy Pickard has updated her Glennmovie.com site to include lots of holiday goodies! She will soon be auctioning off a copy of the new Squeeze book signed by Glenn and Chris on eBay (check her site for updates often so you don't miss it!), and right now she is selling One For The Road posters autographed by Glenn. The posters are running out very quickly and are very reasonably priced, so hurry! She also has some really fab new holiday-themed merchandise, and a diary entry telling us all about the NYC Tribeca Grand Hotel screening of the documentary.

Also, mark your calendar if you're anywhere near Manahawkin, NJ! There will be a FREE One For The Road screening at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library on Dec. 9 at 7:00 PM. Amy will not be able to attend the screening, but you can call (609) 597-3381 for more information.

Audio & Video updated
November 5, 2004

It's that time again! I finally moved all the radio and tv stuff from here to the Audio & Video section. There are nine additions, so chances are good you missed something! The first radio interview is completely new, and it's excellent.

Whatever good news I could scrape up

November 3, 2004

Autographing in Osaka, Glenn remains cute.

Well, yesterday was pretty grueling for most Americans, and although some will be celebrating today's election results, about half the country (and plenty of people in the rest of the world) are feeling pretty demoralized.

Consequently, I'm doing my level best to spread a little cheer by providing another focus for at least a few minutes. Glenn is unwittingly (but ably!) assisting in the photo above, which was taken at the recent Osaka gig.

An awesome new interview was sent in, too! It's the first one at the top of the Audio & Video page.

The book, Squeeze: Song By Song, is available now at Quixotic Records and at the Official Glenn Site! It will also be released in America, but no specific date has been announced yet.

Amy Pickard has updated her diary to talk about the Raindance Film Festival screening of One For the Road in London! The documentary had another big screening in NYC on October 29th, so keep your eyes peeled for news of that on her site as well.

SQUEEZED again

October 5, 2004

Glenn and Chris will play a short set together in London at Border's Bookstore Charing Cross Road on November 18th. They're promoting their new book, Squeeze: Song By Song, which comes out in November and presumably will be on sale during the gig.

Peter Chick sent in some lovely pictures of Glenn's solo gig at The Fishpond in Matlock Bath! He said the venue itself is really nice, so I included his photo of that as well.

The new Squeeze tribute band, SQUEEZED, will be playing in London this weekend. Here are the details:

The Bell, Walthamstow, E17 London
Evening of 9th October (starting 7:30-ish)
Supporting The Blox - an Ian Dury and the Blockheads tribute band
£3 at the door - no pre-booking required

SQUEEZED member Peter Woodward adds, "What a dream line up!! If I wasn't playing I would still be there just to watch The Blox." He also mentioned that the event is in aid of Cancer Research so all in a good cause.

The London screening of One For The Road went down really well, and I am looking forward to reading about it in Amy Pickard's web diary when she gets back to the U.S.!

I would be very interested to hear from anyone who attends the Japanese gigs this weekend! Email me.

Japan!!
-and-
U.K. and U.S. tour dates

NPR musical extravaganza: eTown!

September 27, 2004

Glenn is going to Japan (finally!) for the first time since launching his solo career:

Osaka - October 8 - Kanadian
Tokyo - October 9 - Gabowl

Then he heads over to the U.S. for just a few dates across the country: NY, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, and San Juan Capistrano. From mid-November to mid-December he's touring in the U.K. some more.

This week he's playing the Isle of Arran, Glenfarg, Iverkip (Renfrewshire), and Matlock Bath. See glenntilbrook.com for more details about all of the dates.

Glenn's going to be the guest artist on NPR's eTown this week! The show was recorded in Boulder recently, and featured Glenn and Jamie Cullum (Jazz artist). Tom S. attended the recording and reported back:

Glenn opened and closed the show - sandwiched in between him was the new UK sensation Jamie Cullum. Wow!

Glenn opened with Hostage, Ray & Me and Untouchable, with some nice interviews in-between. The house band played along, and they did the songs justice. He closed the show with Lost In Space, Reinventing the Wheel and a cool solo electric guitar version of Tempted.

Then Jamie's trio joined the house band for "They Can't Take That Away From Me". Glenn sang the bridge. What a fun and interesting night! This is a Glenn show unlike any he's done before or since and I hope it helps sell more TAPP.

I can't WAIT to hear that! To find out whether it's playing on a station near you, visit the eTown site and use their easy dropdown menu. If there isn't one, or if you live outside the U.S., you can find a station to stream from here. (Be sure to listen on a day between Sept 29 and Oct 5! Otherwise a different eTown episode will be airing.)

The book Squeeze: Song By Song is coming out in November! You can pre-order it from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk. Chris Difford will be doing some publicity for it, which will be announced on the excellent unofficial Squeeze site, PacketOfThree.com (look on the "new" page).

If you are in the U.K. and want to see the Glenn documentary, One For The Road, see my last update for ticket information!

One For The Road Tickets
September 11, 2004

Some people have had trouble booking tickets for One For The Road (the Glenn Tilbrook documentary). Apparently the UGC Cinemas site is a bit buggered up, but here is a workaround:

1) Go to the UGC Cinemas site and choose "Date: performance times to suit me" from the top right corner of the screen.

2) In the blue square showing the month, click October. Then choose the third (03).

3) On the same page, choose 16h for the time, and UGC West End - Haymarket - Shaftesbury Avenue for the location, then click on "submit" at the bottom. (This can be a bit confusing because nothing automatically happens once you pick the time and location, but "submit" does the trick.)

3) You now get to specify the time more exactly, so click on 16:30 (it may or may not say "Glenn Tillbrook" [sic] there, but if it does don't click on the name, just on the time).

4) The next page will come up automatically after you clicked on your time, and finally you will see that it is Glenn "Tillbrook" you're booking tickets for! Read carefully to make sure you've got it, and then click on the red box at the bottom to finish the booking process.

They don't make it easy, do they? But believe me, the film is worth the hassle many times over!

Introducing SQUEEZED
-and-
More on the U.K. debut of the Glenn movie!

September 8, 2004

If you aren't going to Glenn's gig in Worcester on Sunday, September 26th, you may be interested to know that the new Squeeze tribute band, SQUEEZED, will be venturing out of the rehearsal studios to play their very first gig that afternoon! They'll be doing loads of songs from the Greatest Hits album, plus that beloved tune "Some Fantastic Place".

Here are the details:

The Cricketers, Ickleford (near Hitchin in Hertfordshire)
Sunday 26th September - 1 PM onwards.
Outside - weather permitting!!

BBQ
FREE admission

Producer/Director Amy Pickard now has more information about her Glenn documentary's London debut at the Raindance Film Festival. It will be shown on Oct 3rd at 4:30 PM. Tickets can be booked starting this Friday (Sept. 10) at the site for UGC Cinemas. Tickets are £5.50/£8.50. Raindance seems enthusiastic about the film, and has booked it in their largest theater! Their press release reads:

Glenn Tilbrook: One For The Road Following the former front man of Squeeze as he drives across the USA in a mobile home on an independent acoustic tour, this is an intimate view of how an established musician adjusts to life on the road without hotel suites and limousines. Primarily a human-interest story, it's also a wry commentary on the state of the music industry today. The presentation of this film at Raindance will be followed by an acoustic set and a Q&A session from the man himself.

Woohoo! Read all about it in Amy's latest diary entry. (She's even got a few radio spots lined up!)

Amplifier Magazine wrote up a great review of one of Glenn's recent shows with The Fluffers. Glenn and his band are on tour right now through December!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLENN!
-and-
Babylonandon.com

Glenn's birthday is Tuesday, August 31st. Please feel free to leave him a birthday message in my guestbook. Glenn, I'm sending you warmest birthday wishes from Oregon!

VH1 Classics (U.S.) is celebrating the day by playing his latest video, "Untouchable", at the top of every hour, all day long!

Glenn has a huge list of tour dates for September through December on his official site. More will be added, so be sure to check back!

Tuesday also marks the fourth year Babylonandon.com has been on the web. Thank you very much to everyone who has visited this site or contributed to it! Your input and enthusiasm has been crucial to it's success.

Have a fun Tuesday!

Chicago pics!
August 10, 2004

Two pages of gorgeous pictures are up from the Lincoln Park West Festival in Chicago, the last stop on Glenn's recent U.S. tour. These are daytime photos, so they're really clear and bright! They were taken by Michelle, who also runs the awesome Glenn List.

Book about Glenn and Chris

August 3, 2004

Ed from San Francisco sent in some really awesome pics of Glenn and the Fluffers in Cleveland during their recent US tour. They're looking very feisty on stage.

Right after I announced the Irish tour (below), a whole ton of new U.K. dates were confirmed, which are now stretching from August 26th to December 18th! There's a big gap from September 12 to November 22. I would not be surprised if some U.S. dates were to appear somewhere in there soon. Wherever you live, keep an eye on Glenntilbrook.com!

There is a new book coming out about Glenn and Chris Difford's writing in November, called Squeeze: Song By Song. It will be published by Sanctuary Press. If you have any interesting photos of Glenn, Chris, or Squeeze that were taken any time during their career, you can email them to Quixotic for possible inclusion. If your photos are used in the book, you will get a free copy! Remember to include your full name so your pics will be credited in the book. The photos must be received by the end of next week.

Amy Pickard's Glenn documentary, One For The Road, will be debuting in the U.K. at the Raindance Film Festival! Details in the diary at GlennMovie.com.

Irish Tour!
-and-
Articles, reviews, and interviews

July 26, 2004

Glenn has been playing his usual smattering of summer festivals and gigs in the U.K., but he has a full tour booked for Ireland this September. Here are the dates so far:

Thur 2 The Village, Dublin
Fri 3 Regal Lodge Hotel, Wexford
Sat 4 The Forum, Waterford
Thur 9 McGrorys, Culdaff
Fri 10 Spirit Store, Dundalk
Sat 11 Spirit Store, Dundalk
Sun 12 King's Head, Belfast

More dates may be added so keep an eye on Glenntilbrook.com. He and the Fluffers will be touring the western U.S. sometime this fall or winter.

Glenn's been getting good press over the summer! Check out articles at CleveScene, Epinions, and Kentucky.com (v. good). Not to mention Whisperin & Hollerin, Long Island Press, and Creative Loafing! The Creative Loafing article is an interesting comparison between Transatlantic Ping Pong, and Chris Difford's solo release, I Didn't Get Where I Am.

If you missed Glenn's interview and performance on NPR's Acoustic Cafe, you can listen to it archived. He and the Fluffers were also guests on World Cafe, but that show doesn't do archives, so it's available here for download (3.6 MB). It was recorded as it streamed over the net (thanks Michelle!), so there are some skips in it, but it's a very good interview.

There are some very nice recent Glenn pics by photographer Martin Woodhead on his site.

WICN Interview
-and-
Glenn radio spins

June 26, 2004

Nick DiBiasio's WICN radio interview, which many of us missed, is finally available for download (1.6 MB). This is a great interview; Nick asks Glenn a lot of interesting questions and really knows his stuff. Special thanks to Nadine, who worked very hard to get her recording digitised for our listening pleasure!

Glenn's new single, "Untouchable" has been heard on radio stations from coast to coast. This prompted Michelle and me to completely revamp the Radio Requests Page. We removed all the stations that had disappeared or changed format, and added only the ones known to have played tracks from the new album. Check out the page to find a station near you that is willing and able to honour your request for Glenny music!

The Solo Albums page has finally been properly updated for the new album, and it has a link to a great album review by Helen. I also updated the Field Staff page to more accurately reflect the current state of that fine institution.

NPR's World Cafe will be broadcasting an interview with Glenn in early July. It will stream from WXPN's site on Friday, July 9th, at 2pm Eastern.

Americans may have the option of listening to the show on their local NPR stations, but you will first need to find one that airs World Cafe (check here). The time (and possibly the day) will vary from place to place, so it's important that you look at the schedule for your local station to see when it's on. If you aren't a regular NPR listener, you might just wanna stream it!

Atlanta and Nashville pics

The U.S. tour is over, but the pictures keep coming in! There are two great new collections, one from Nashville, and the other from Atlanta (the third page). These are really fun pictures of the whole band!

Focus on The Fluffers

June 19, 2004

The second-hardest working band in show biz?
Stephen, Glenn, Simon, and Lucy!

All of the touring Glenn has done so far for his latest album has been with his new band, The Fluffers. Although none of them seem to appreciate their name (it was given to them by Glenn, and has its roots in the porn industry), all reports from fans are the same: they are awesome musicians!

Jim McGrath seems to have captured what a lot of the fans are feeling when he posted the following note to the Glenn List, entitled "One For The Fluffers":

Glenn put a damn good band together, and I'd like to give them their props. Simon Hanson is the backbone and hits the skins with great dexterity and skill. In short, he's awesome! Lucy Shaw on the bass. Say no more... her personality is all over the stage, her bass KICKS ASS, and the icing on the cake is that she's very easy on the eyes. And on the piano, Stephen Large... good LAWD! I remember Jools doing a piano duel with Dr. John on the old Sunday Night in the late 80's and basically kicking old John where the sun don't shine. With due respect, Stephen could have showed well in that contest if it was a three way showdown. He's that good. Cheers to the Fluffers!

Glenn and the Fluffers have just one more U.S. gig left at the Lincoln Park Festival in Chicago, but they'll be back!

Until then, you can feast your eyes on some great photos that really capture the band's spirit. Remember when I posted the pics from Cardiff and asked who else was taking a picture of Glenn on the floor with his guitar? Well, Annie was there, and I think she got the money shot in her last photo! There are also two great sets of photos from Atlanta, and more pics coming soon!

The gorgeous band picture above was taken by Vance in Annapolis. Click here for a larger, MUCH clearer version!

Jimmy Kimmel video
-and-
Photos and reviews!

June 11, 2004

All's right with the world!

Glenn was on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last Tuesday, and it was fantastic! He sat in with the show's band and got to play in and out every commercial break with Squeeze songs, plus he performed "Untouchable" and "Tempted". I have to say, it is SO GREAT to see Glenn get national exposure on U.S. television.

For those of you who missed it, I wish I could have put the whole show up because of the many times Jimmy plugged the album and all the snippets of songs that were played, but it's just not feasible due to the file size (and blatant copyright infringement!). Happily, I do have video of Glenn being introduced at the beginning, along with both the songs he played in full, not to mention some very nice vidcaps on the download page.

Denise made a really nice page of pictures she took at the Atlanta show, which is fast-loading and very accessible with thumbnails. Helen sent in the following links for Glenn articles and reviews: The Boston Phoenix, The Huddersfield Daily Examiner, South Wales Echo, and the Newcastle Opera House site (extra article along the left side in red font). Also, Jon sent in the link for this BBC review, where you can add your own comment or review at the end!

Michelle and I are in the process of updating the Radio Stations Request Page to include all the stations we know of that would play requests for "Untouchable". Lots of fans are reporting hearing the song on local stations! If you hear it, please consider contacting the station to ask them what the song was and who it was by, which is a great way to let them know their audience is interested. If you don't hear it, go ahead and request it yourself!

Glenn's on the last leg of this U.S tour, playing from Lexington KY to Chicago. For those of you going, have a great time and send me your photos!

U.S. Album Release!
-and-
Later poll results

June 6, 2004

Yum!!

Glenn's new album, Transatlantic Ping Pong, will be available in U.S. stores on Tuesday! You might find it at any CD store in town, but your best bets are probably places like Borders and Barnes & Noble. However, it wouldn't do any harm to call around to all your local record stores and ask them if they have it! Your efforts would show there is interest in Glenn's music, and maybe some stores will stock it who were on the fence before. The U.S. and U.K. versions of the album are identical this time.

Buying the album in your town (rather than on the net) shows local radio stations that there is a market for his music, which will encourage them to play it! Right now would actually be a fantastic time to give them a more direct hint by calling or emailing stations and requesting "Untouchable".

The album is also available at gigs, of course! Glenn and his band play this week in Atlanta, Nashville, and Lexington. For all remaining tour dates, see Glenntilbrook.com.

The new album is being released on Compass Records, and they've made a nice little Glenny section on their website. Check out the gorgeous, high resolution photos of Glenn and the band, which are suitable for printing!

Glenn ended up winning the poll for best artist on 'Later with Jools Holland', which just goes to show that a concerted effort from fans really can make a difference! The numbers on the chart below show where the poll stood at 3 pm on Friday, which is the latest result I was able to get. Yay for Glenn! (And good job everyone!)

Don't miss Glenn on Jimmy Kimmel's show, Tuesday night on ABC!

David Bailey has put together an AMAZING new Squeeze site called PacketOfThree.com. It's filled with a staggering collection of old photos, rare Squeeze memorabilia, interviews, and all kinds of other stuff. Most of it I had never seen before. He started with the oldest stuff (including a very complete discography), and is working his way through the band's entire catalogue.

The site is really easy to navigate, but there's so much there already that it may be hard to decide where to start! I suggest the Photo section, as there are some great really early ones of the band (some taken by Chris Difford). The Memorabilia section is awesome too - very complete, with pictures of all kinds of cool early merchandise for each album. Keep an eye on the New section, as that's where he adds new stuff regularly, and it's the easiest way to keep track of what's there that you haven't seen.

Glenn's band is on tour in the U.S. right now! Check out the dates at GlennTilbrook.com.

Vh1 Classic plays "Untouchable"

May 26, 2004

Glenn sings "Untouchable" with Stephen Large on piano

Glenn's appearance on Later with Jools is now available for download! There are some nice vidcaps too.

The poll at the Later site (see last update) has really improved! Last I saw, Glenn was up to 34%, second only to Morrissey at 45%. We only have two more voting days--let's make them count!

In other fantastic news, there is a video for "Untouchable", which is being played on Vh1 Classic (during their All Request Hour) and TOTP2! If you want to see it, make sure to send in a request to:

Vh1 Classic: VH1ClassicRequests@vh1.com

TOTP2: www.bbc.co.uk/totp2/faq/

Even if you don't get VH1 Classic, your request would still give Glenn a valuable opportunity to reach an audience that might not otherwise hear his music, so go ahead and write!

Glenn's U.S. Tour starts tonight in NYC! Scroll down for more info.

Vote for Glenn!
May 23, 2004

Can we make these numbers change?

The Later with Jools Holland site has a poll for best artist on last week's show, but Glenn only has six percent as I type this! You can vote for him here: www.bbc.co.uk/later

Glenn on Music 6
May 22, 2004

Glenn wrapped up his U.K. tour tonight, but he's bringing the band over to the States in just four days!

He'll be playing in NYC on Wednesday the 26th, then on to Boston (27th), Glenside PA (28th), Seaside Park NJ (29th), and Amagansett NY (30th). The tour runs through late June, with all dates on or near the east coast. He promises to be back in the fall to tour the west. For the full list of U.S. tour dates, check out GlennTilbrook.com or Quixotic Records.

Helen sent in some gorgeous photos from the recent gigs in Cardiff and Holmfirth. Check them out! (And whose hand is that taking another picture of Glenn on the floor?)

The BBC Music 6 interview with Liz Kershaw didn't get much discussion on the mailing lists, as it was crowded in among a lot of other (perhaps higher profile) appearances. I really enjoyed it, though! She and Glenn seem to have a good rapport, and it's a lively, fun show. Thanks to Roger, it's available for download here.

I have not forgotten those of you who couldn't catch Glenn on Later with Jools Holland! It will be here soon, complete with controversial hand gestures and a really fantastic live performance of "Untouchable".

Americans, ready your cameras!

Call to U.K. Field Staff!
-and-
Glenn on 'Later...' this Friday

May 18, 2004

Glenn has been getting lots of guest appearances on Radio 2 lately (yay!), but his single, "Untouchable", has still not been playlisted (boooo!) Let's make sure the Radio 2 DJs know we want to hear it! Daniel from the Glenn List reckons these are the presenters most likely to oblige us when we request the song during their shows:

Ken Bruce: email, call 0500 288291, SMS 88291

Steve Wright: email, SMS 88291

Jeremy Vine: email, call 0500 288291, SMS 88291

Terry Wogan: email, call 08700 100 200, SMS 88291

Johnnie Walker: email, SMS 88291

You'll notice the text messaging numbers are all the same. (Hm! Perhaps good to add to your contacts list.) Remember to only contact these people during their shows! To find out when each show airs, click on the "email" link above, as it takes you to a web form with all the details.

Glenn will be appearing on Later with Jools Holland this week! And if you missed his appearance on Jools's radio show, you can download it here (6.1 MB).

More photos and interviews will go up as time allows. Many thanks to those who sent in your lovely pictures. As always, I'd love more!

Manchester pics
-and-
Jonathan Ross interview

May 15, 2004

Taking a good picture of Glenn's new bassist, Lucy Shaw, is like
falling off a log. (Mitzi managed this one in Bristol)

Glenn's new touring band, The Fluffers, includes drummer Simon Hanson and keyboardist Stephen Large, who also played in Glenn's first post-Squeeze band, The Party. But it's newcomer bassist Lucy Shaw who has been garnering the most attention from fan photographers. Besides being a wicked bass player, she's undeniably stunning. In fact, a lot of the fans seem to have been so stunned that they forgot to photograph Glenn as well!

Luckily, there have been a few photos that include Glenn and the other band members (and of course lovely ones of Lucy!), which I have cobbled together. Take a look at great pictures from the Manchester gig, which Maggie and Mark sent in.

Glenn and The Fluffers have been gathering steam the whole tour, each show reportedly better than the last. Their final three nights should be real barnstormers! They'll play at The Brook in Southampton (Thurs 20th) and then do two nights at Bush Hall in London (21st and 22nd).

The whole band was also on Jonathan Ross's BBC Radio 2 show on May 1st. You can download it in RealMedia here (and look at what his hairstyle has been likened to on the show). There are three more radio shows coming up in the next few days; for details scroll down to the last update.

Whole lotta radio!

Glenn was on a fantastic BBC Radio 2 show called Jammin' on Thursday. The show is archived at the Radio 2 site for streaming, but if you'd rather download it and play it from your hard drive, you can get a high quality realmedia file of it here (13.8 MB), or a lower quality one here (4.5 MB).

The show is not an interview, it's a kind of musical variety show with a bunch of different musicians. My first thought was "sounds boring", but it's HILARIOUS. I could not recommend this show more highly! I was laughing out loud and applauding raucously and, well, I was at home by myself!

Glenn also guested on Jonathan Ross' show last night, and I should have that one up for download soon. Meanwhile, Glenn has a bunch more radio appearances coming up:

Virgin Radio* Razor Cuts with Pete Mitchell, Sunday May 9th (one hour special)

BBC Radio 2 (streams live) with Jools Holland, Monday May 10th, 9pm (4pm Eastern)

BBC 6 Music (streams live) with Liz Kershaw, Sunday May 16th, 11am (6am Eastern)

BBC Radio 2 (streams live) Album Chart Show with Simon Mayo, Monday May 17th, 7pm (2pm Eastern)

BBC Radio 2 (streams live) with Richard Allinson, Wednesday May 19th, 10.30pm (5:30pm Eastern)

*The Virgin site does stream live, but it has a very confusing array of streaming options. Rather than send you to the site to fend for yourself, I am gonna recommend that you open up your Real Media player (a.k.a. Real One), and paste their URL in.

Use this one if you're listening with a dial-up modem:

http://www.smgradio.com/core/audio/real/live.smi?service=vr

Or this one if you have broadband:

http://www.smgradio.com/core/audio/real/live.smi?service=vrbb

I made them clickable because there is some chance you might be able to just click on the URL you want and your browser will stream it.
